Crown Berkey® System – 6.0 Gallons
The Crown Berkey® System – 6.0 Gallons is the largest and highest-capacity Berkey® water filtration system, ideal for large families, group settings, churches, hospitals, off-grid living, outdoor activities, and emergency preparedness. This gravity-fed stainless steel system produces clean, great-tasting drinking water from almost any fresh water source—including lakes, rivers, streams, ponds, wells, and tap water—without the need for electricity, plumbing, or chemicals.
This system is available in four configurations:

Black Berkey® Purification Elements
The system includes Black Berkey® Purification Elements, tested by State and EPA-accredited laboratories to exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 53. Each pair purifies up to 6,000 gallons of water and removes or reduces bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, VOCs, chlorine, pesticides, and unpleasant tastes or odors.
Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride & Arsenic Filters (Sold Separately)
Optional PF-2™ filters attach to the bottom of the Black Berkey® Elements to reduce fluoride, arsenic, and additional heavy metal ions.
Berkey® Standard Spigot
Includes a BPA-free, FDA-approved polypropylene spigot. Stainless steel upgrade spigots are also available.

Flow rate measured with a full upper chamber. Rate decreases as water level drops.
How to Assemble

Wash hands and clean all components.

Unpack all parts and verify contents.

Prime the Black Berkey® Purification Elements.

Place the large sealing washer on each element’s threaded stem.

Insert each element into the upper chamber and secure with wing nuts.

Attach the spigot to the lower chamber.

Set the upper chamber onto the lower chamber and place the lid on top.
How to Prime the Elements
-
Attach the priming button or Berkey Primer™.

Run clean water through the element until fully saturated.

Install into the system once primed.
