Berkey Light® System With Base (No LED) – 2.75 Gallons

The Berkey Light® System – 2.75 Gallons is a lightweight, multi-use gravity water filtration system designed for home use, camping, hunting, traveling, off-grid living, and emergency preparedness. Its durable non-BPA/BPS co-polyester construction makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments.

This system is available in two configurations:

• Berkey Light® System with 2 Black Berkey® Purification Elements

• Berkey Light® System with 4 Black Berkey® Purification Elements

Cloth Lid
Includes a breathable Cloth Lid that helps keep out dust, particles, and contaminants during filtration.

Black Berkey® Purification Elements
The system includes Black Berkey® Purification Elements, tested by State and EPA-accredited laboratories to exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 53. Each pair can purify up to approximately 6,000 gallons and removes or reduces bacteria, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, VOCs, pesticides, herbicides, chlorine, and more.

Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements (Sold Separately)
These optional PF-2™ elements attach to the bottom of the Black Berkey® Purification Elements to absorb fluoride, arsenic, and other residual heavy metal ions. Sold in sets of two.

Berkey® Standard Spigot
The system includes a BPA-free, FDA-approved polypropylene spigot. Replacements can be purchased separately if needed.

Berkey Base™
A sturdy elevated base is included, allowing cups, bottles, and containers to easily fit under the spigot during dispensing.

Flow rate is based on a full upper chamber and decreases as water level drops.

How to Assemble the Berkey Light® System With Base (No LED) – 2.75 Gallons

1. Wash hands and clean the system before assembly.

2. Remove all components from packaging and verify contents.

3. Prime the Black Berkey® Purification Elements.

4. Place the large sealing washer on the threaded stem of each element.

5. Insert each element through the holes in the base of the upper chamber.

6. Secure each element using the provided wing nut.

7. Place the upper chamber onto the lower chamber and position the lid.

8. Install the spigot and ensure all seals are tight before first use.

Priming the Black Berkey® Purification Elements

1. Attach the priming button or Primer™.

2. Run water through the element until fully saturated.

3. Install into the system once primed.
