The versatile Go Berkey® Kit - 1 Quart with 1 Black Berkey® Purification Elements and Black Berkey Primer™ is lightweight, compact and easily transportable.  The perfect berkey water filter for use while camping, backpacking, school, traveling, and during unexpected emergencies.

Black Berkey® Purification Elements

All Berkey stainless steel systems come standard with Black Berkey® Purification Elements and are the leader in gravity-fed water purification. The Black Berkey® Purification Element formulation has been tested by State and EPA accredited laboratories to exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 53 and will purify approximately 6,000 gallons of water before replacement is recommended when used as a pair.

Black Berkey Primer™

A hand priming pump that makes it possible to prime Black Berkey® Purification Elements offline, without the need for faucets or hose connections. Priming the Black Berkey® Purification Elements saturates the filters with water prior to their use, allowing for clean water production anywhere. Specifically designed for use with the Black Berkey® Purification Elements. May be cleaned with mild soap and warm water. Do not microwave the Black Berkey® Primer. Store in a cool dry place and keep out of direct sunlight

Sport Berkey® Bottle (22oz)

The 22 oz. portable Sport Berkey® Bottle is durable, handy and convenient; ideal for use when on the go such as driving, camping, exercise, backpacking, travel, and during unexpected emergencies. The bottle is constructed from a non-leaching, LDPE #4 medical grade polymer, which is BPA Free. The filter element is designed to remove or dramatically reduce toxic chemicals, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, trihalomethanes, detergents, pesticides, herbicides, chlorides, pharmaceuticals, petroleum-based products, unpleasant tastes and odour, silt, sediment and chlorine.

How To Assemble And Prime Black Berkey® purification elements.

Assembly Instructions:

1. Wash hands before proceeding to ensure that contamination of filter system components does not take place during assembly.
2. Remove parts from their protective packaging, checking items against contents list.
3. Prime Black Berkey® purification elements. See instructions below under Priming Prime Black Berkey® purification elements.
4. Place the large sealing washer over the threaded mount of the Black Berkey® purification element.
5. Place the threaded mount stem into the hole in the interior base of the upper chamber.
6. Secure element in the base of the chamber by screwing the wing nut onto the threaded mount. Repeat #3- #6 until all elements have been installed.
